Halloween

Some last minute sewing on Charis costume...Time to get Charis ready, she loved getting to wear makeup!Presenting the royal King and Queen!We trick or treated long enough to fill Charis' pumpkin and then returned home to hand out candy and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Carving pumpkins

We all got to carve our pumpkins today. It was a great family activity.With lots of silliness!And some serious concentration.

Fall Festival

Charis dressed up and we went to the school fall festival. I am so glad we did, she had so much fun!I helped out at the dunk tanks, with the teachers while Charis played games, did some art and explored the amazing tree house.Then we met up for face painting and ended the afternoon with the bouncing house/slide with Lily and friends. It was a fun day!

Soccer goals

Charis played soccer today against a team with friend from church. She got to toss the ball in, play with Lily and score her 1st, 2nd and 3rd goals of the season!We are so proud of you and it is great to watch you have so much fun!

Drums

We went to see Nut today at Ozone. Charis was very excited to get to see him. Then he surprised her with a very special gift, a drum set!She jumped right on and did not want to stop playing. This might be her best present ever, thanks Nut! And lucky for me, they fit great out on our large porch.

Picking out pumpkins

This year we were not able to make it to sweet berry farm to get some pumpkins for Halloween, so we went to a large local stand/farm. They had lots of pumpkins, skeleton and a hay bale maze.I am so glad we went and now we have pumpkins to carve!

Soccer

Bella's bday fun

A girl in Charis' class (Bella) invited Charis to her cowgirl birthday party.
Charis got to ride on the pony, she was so excited!
And her turn at the pinta.
Bella invited her up to her room for some dress up after the party. It was a fun bday party, thanks Bella!
