Charis' first tattoo. She loves tattoos and always wants to draw one on herself. So Kris had a friend draw one on Charis. She loved it and protected it like it was real.

Cooking with Mommy

Charis loves to cook. And one of our friends got Charis a kid's cookbook. Charis was so excited to "read" all the recipes and choose one to make.She did almost all of it herself. But I did stir a little to make sure that it was all stirred in.
She had so much fun and was very proud of herself. And so am I.

Wedding, pregnant and babies

Charis loves to pretend. And today she got very excited and pretended that she was pregnant.

Daddy listen to the baby. (Kris' hair is still red and shaved from Halloween)

Then she decided that she and daddy were getting married. Which she thinks is all about the dancing. (I know - she needs more lessons about marriage first then pregnant.)

Finger Knitting

Charis loves to play with my knitting needles. (and pulls them out a lot) But we have tried to work on a project together and she does not have the coordination yet. Someday. But for now I am teaching her how to finger knit.

She caught on very fast and loved it.

She made several "bracelets" for her friends and family. We were both very proud! And it was a lot of fun.

Watermelon from Granddaddy

Granddaddy was home for a visit and brought Charis and him a watermelon to share. But sadly did not get a chance to eat it with her.

Sorry you were not able to eat any but it was great and Charis loved it! Thanks.

Lunch and Ducks

Charis and I are always looking for things to do after school away from home. Charis is like me and loves being outside but also very much like Kris and loves people. Going straight home and being only with me for hours is not her idea of an exciting day. And I usually have a lot to do around the house. Anyway, today Kris packed Charis a lunch and Charis and I went to Town lake and ate and then feed the ducks.

We had a nice walk, good lunch and fun, relaxing time.
